Texas and Impaired Driving Infographic

June 20, 2017

The following infographic (available to download) illustrates Texas’ impaired driving statistics.

In Texas, a driving under the influence (DUI)-related crash refers to a crash where at least one driver involved in the crash had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) result greater than 0.00 g/dL, or a positive substance test result was indicated for at least one driver, or “had been drinking,” “under the influence of alcohol,” “under the influence – drug,” or “taking medication” was identified as a contributing factor. Drugs can include legal (prescription medication) and/or illicit drugs.
