Planning for the 2023 Virtual Texas Impaired Driving Forum is underway. We are looking forward to gathering together next year and exchanging knowledge and ideas for eliminating impaired driving.
We will continue with some of the great things you’ve come to know and expect:
- Free of Cost. We get it: budgets are tight, and you’re being asked to do more with less. That’s why — through funding and support from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) — the Texas Impaired Driving Forum has been offered free of cost since its inception. Help us spread the word and invite your colleagues and networks to join us!
- Concurrent Breakout Sessions. Customize your experience at the Forum by attending sessions that are relevant to your background or interest you. And, if choosing between sessions is difficult, all session will be recorded and made available at a later time.
- Impaired Driving Safety Awards. Each year, the Texas Impaired Driving Task Force (TxIDTF) honors individuals and organizations who are going “above and beyond” their job duties to truly impact impaired driving in Texas. Help us recognize and honor these folks when all will be revealed the day of the Forum!
- Networking and Forming New Partnerships. Just because we won’t be meeting in person doesn’t mean the interaction and dialogue with fellow attendees ends. You’ll be able to interact with other attendees in real-time through moderated chat Q&A exchanges.
The agenda, interactive activities, and discussions will target enforcement, prosecution, judiciary, education and outreach, and community/stakeholder engagement.
Keep an eye out for updates to this page as the details unfold. We look forward to seeing you all in early 2023!
