The Teens in the Driver Seat (TDS) Safe Driving Summit is an annual event that takes place near the end of the school year. Teens, teachers, and safety professionals gather to build alliances and spread awareness about teen driving dangers. To further spread the life-saving TDS message, this year’s TDS Summit will be held May 20-22, in San Antonio, Texas. The two-day event will consist of workshops, interactive learning experiences, and an awards brunch to recognize student leaders in bringing awareness about this problem to their peers, their families and their community.

Presenters will utilize higher-order thinking strategies through hands-on lessons and activities while also applying differentiated instruction designed to engage attendees with all types of learning styles. Participants will also gain access to various free resources related to traffic safety education in order to facilitate the creation of a traffic safety culture at their school.
