Each year, safety advocates and professionals gather for the annual Texas Impaired Driving Forum. The Forum is a 1-day event that is free and open to all audiences – whether you’re a professional with 20 years of experience or a concerned citizen. Forum attendees include advocacy and prevention organizations, law enforcement, prosecution, judicial, probation, screening and treatment, public health, media, and federal, state, and local traffic safety professionals. Since the first Forum was held in 2014, the number of attendees has grown each year, with over 150 participants in attendance.
The Forum provides an opportunity for attendees to learn about current challenges associated with impaired driving and what programs are being implemented to reduce and prevent impaired driving in Texas. It is also provides an opportunity to foster partnerships with other organizations and stakeholders interested in combatting impaired driving in Texas.
If you are interested in attending the 2017 Impaired Driving Forum, please register. Deadline to register is April 19, 2017.
