The Our Driving Concern (ODC): Texas Employers Traffic Safety Program, a landmark driving initiative funded through a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation, continues to build a statewide network of employer involvement in crash prevention for employees both on and off the job. The ODC Program places particular emphasis on impaired driving, driver distractions, and employer policies. They work with Texas business owners, executive managers, safety & health, human resource and public affairs professionals to introduce best practice for traffic safety strategies.
A major activity of this project is to equip Texas employers to talk about and address employee driving behaviors, on and off the job, in a consistent and on-going manner. This is accomplished by providing the employers FREE training, education, and resources. The goal is that this not only positively impacts the employer, but the employee, the families of the employees and the community as well. The ODC Program offers a free training program to teach your employees the basics of traffic safety and help prevent costly crashes. Our Driving Concern Train-the-Trainer Workshops teach presentation skills in conjunction with a traffic safety curriculum to address driver behaviors that are costly to Texas employers.
This training is great for HR professionals, safety professionals, supervisors, instructors, and other staff. These instructor-led modules are designed with an Employer-Employee focus and the behavior-specific modules are designed to deliver to your employees at staff meetings, safety meetings, etc. Each module includes scripted PowerPoint, video and audio presentations, Facilitator guide, tip sheets, and handouts. Protect your employees and your company’s bottom line.
