March 10 | DWI March for Change

February 10, 2017

Join AAA-Texas for the DWI March for Change on March 10, from 10 to 11 am, at the Capitol.

Download the a flyer or view the Facebook event page with more information on the event and to share with others.

This is the 5th annual DWI March for Change. The march is a silent walk around the Capitol building in remembrance of lives lost to impaired driving crashes. The event will begin with a brief press conference, during which we will hear from a legislator, law enforcement official and a victim/survivor of an impaired driving crash.

This year’s event is quite timely, as March 10 is the day before spring break and the first day of SXSW, so it’s a great opportunity to remind drivers of all ages to be safe and avoid drinking and driving!

The event is free and open to the public and parking is free for the first two hours at the Capitol Visitor’s Parking Garage.

For more information, contact Kara Thorp at 512-444-4767 ext. 224 or at [email protected].
