Webinar bannerIn nearly every state, a teen that waits until age 18 or later to obtain a driver license “ages” out of the graduated driver license system (GDL), which is designed to help novice drivers learn to drive and gain experience in a lower risk environment. That means this teen or young adult, and everyone else on the road, isn’t benefiting from the proven provisions of GDL. Examine the research and data surrounding teens and young people who age out of GDL and how this policy negatively impacts safety. and novice driver training and education programs expressly designed for college students and older teens.
