Texas Drug Recognition Expert Program Presents
the Regional DWI Training Conference Featuring:
“Don’t Fear the Darkside”
A free two-day course designed for law enforcement officers. During this course, participants will receive training on how to testify under direct and cross examination. This course includes application scenarios where participants will be evaluated by instructors.
Attire: Collared shirt, slacks or tactical pants
- “Hear me now & remember what I said”
- Direct & cross examination testifying
- Wet lab and SFST review
- Report writing
- Blood search warrants
- Prosecution theme development
- Roadside interviewing
- Re-establishing rapport post arrest
- Report writing exercises
Attire: Class A uniform or business suit
- Trial advocacy
The class will put together everything learned on day one. Time for the participant to get an opportunity to testify in court through direct and cross examination exercises.

The course is presented by Integrated Impaired Driving Solutions, LLC and is FREE to all Texas peace officers. The training is made possible through a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation
