In Texas, drivers are legally intoxicated when their blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level reaches .08. However, driving ability can be impaired below the legal limit. What happens to your body when you drink and drive? How much is too much? Cindy Leonard, program manager with the National Safety Council, will discuss how BAC affects driving, why it is important to plan ahead for a safe ride home and answer all of your impaired driving questions. She also will outline who is most at risk and how employers can promote safe driving behaviors. What’s learned at work often is carried home.
