Texas Impaired Driving Task Force
Texas A&M Transportation Institute
The events on our calendar reflect impaired driving activities going on throughout the state of Texas. If you have events that you would like added to the calendar, please submit your event to Jack Wenzel. Events will be updated as they are received.
Join AAA Texas, MADD and the Travis County Attorney’s Underage Drinking Prevention Program as we march in silent remembrance of those who lost their lives due to impaired driving and in an effort to bring change and a brighter future for our families and communities.
Why Participate?
In 2017, 1,024 Texans were killed as a result of alcohol-impaired driving and 2,169 were seriously injured. The number of Texans killed due to DWI represents roughly one-third of the total number of Texans killed in vehicle crashes in 2017.
