Join Us for the UDS Symposium

You’re invited to attend the UDS Symposium on April 26 & 27, 2019. This free symposium is brought to you by U in the Driver Seat, and Texas Department of Transportation. This student-oriented symposium will feature new information pertaining to the main driving risks college students face out on the roads. Sessions will include information on topics such as:

  • impaired driving and distracted driving prevention,
  • peer-to-peer outreach methods,
  • content related to effectively establishing and supporting a peer education program along with much more! 

A tentative agenda will be available online soon and will be updated frequently.  Additionally, this symposium will offer several resources to take back to your respective campuses – helping to save lives at your college.

REGISTRATION

Pre-registration is required. Please RSVP by completing the registration form online at https://www.u-driver.com/events-and-contests/uds-symposium/registration/.  Spaces are limited, up to 10 students & up to 3 advisors/chaperones per school.

U in the Driver Seat is a peer-to-peer safe driving program that provides information and resources to help college students educate their peers about the top 5 driving dangers they face on today’s roadways including; distractions, night time/drowsy driving, speeding/racing, low seat belt use and driving impaired.
